Helping to conduct local orientations and fun activities -Lead discussion groups with our international students -Lead or assist with fun group activities -Help prepare food and snacks -Organize events, find temporary homes for weekend activities Provide support for students and families -Become a liaison for a student and family to help with their adjustments. -Be an "Aunt and Uncle" family for a student. Administrative and media support -Type letters, do mailings -Help design data bases, do online reporting -Develop media contacts to increase our public exposure -Things we haven't even thought of yet, you tell us!!!! AFS understands how busy the world (and you) are. We would love to have your help, whether it is for a few days or even a few minutes each month. The AFS mission of promoting world understanding in your home town is one worth being involved in.
